I realize any game can go in to OT, but at -140 don't the odds of a game overtime MORE THAN justify laying money at -140?

Opinions?

Yep, that can't be right! I think the book missed a 0, that should be more like -1400 and not -140! I'd pound that sucker hard at -140!

By the way, this reminds me of Superbowl 36 between the Pats and Rams.... a guy I knew bet a shitload on the "No OT" prop at some rediculous price, thinking it was easy money. I can't remember what it was, but he paid a ton and he only got $100 out of it. When Vinateri kicked that last second FG, he was practically crying. I don't think he ever made another bet since.

I'm not finding any other books offering this "will there be overtime" bet. Anybody else see anything? If so, what's the line?

Yup, they sure did.

Is it stardard practice for an online book to be able to go in and just cancel a bet because they screwed up?

yes, definitely in their right to do so. you have to read the fine print at the book.

line is -1400

I got into it with Bodog Life last summer live betting the HR Derby. They put up a line that paid out something like +650 that Josh Hamilton would hit 7 or less HR's in the semifinals (knowing full well he wouldn't even half to hit to advance to the finals). I max bet it (I think it was $500) and they tried to rule the bets as no action because Hamilton didn't stay up there to make 10 outs. It took a few emails but they finally decided to reverse their decision and pay it out the next day. In that case though, they were missing a disclaimer whereas this is simply an obvious omission on the part of your book.
