Why not? Other than last night, in their last 12 or 13 losses, they went into those games as a moderately priced underdog, and at a few games at home, they were co-favorites when "King Felix" was pitching.
I'm particularly interested in their game today, hoping they lose today again to the Red Sox, as I have a close friend who was lucky enough to begin a parlay wagering against Seattle 11 games ago. So today, he will go into some sportsbook in Vegas, looking to get the best price he can vs. Wakefield, where he will put all of the winnings thus far, from the parlay he started all those losses ago. What a edge he has, at least ending his parlay on the road, at Boston, and has the solid hitting Red Sox going for him. Of course I know Wakefield is old and is capable of giving up runs galore everytime he walks out on the mound.
Personally, I like the game over, despite Seattle leaving more men on base in their last several games than most teams in baseball, since the All Star Game.
I'm not sure what my friend's $200 parlay will figure, but I hope he at least deducts his original $200 from today's end to a really nice parlay!
Good luck Otto just in case you read this!
