Seattle just got fucking screwed.

We have a clear fumble and a Seattle recovery. Why the fuck did they not get the ball?

Don't want to sound completely biased but didn't Richard Sherman clearly have the recovery and then a massive scrum landed on top of him in the replays? How did Seattle not get the ball back with about a minute left?

That's my question? Why wasn't it reviewed? Why was there no explanation given? It was like the damn Colts being moved in the dark. It just happened and the refs ran off the field.

Maybe don't let it come to a situation like that? There were 59 other minutes to win that game.

Well that's kind of not the point. What? The refs just said "well, you should've won in the other 59 minutes, it's all good." Then walk off the field?

No, I'm saying that yes, it does suck... But if they played as a team like that should, it wouldn't have been an issue. It's like the Pats' win this week - am I happy they got a W? Sure. Do I think they deserved it? Am I happy with how they played? Of course not. Jets should have never been there with a chance to win. Same with Seattle... If that RB just takes a seat after getting the first down, the game is over... And even if you get the ball, the way Seattle was playing, there's no guarantee they even get a make-able FG chance.

It was a shitty call, don't get me wrong - not saying it wasn't.

Agree with most of what you said except the notion that Seattle wouldn't have scored a FG had they gotten the recovery. The last three times Russ Wilson had the ball he went 82 yards, 91 yards, 80 yards, TOUCHDOWN, TOUCHDOWN, TOUCHDOWN. It was like a hot knife through butter. The question wasn't whether they would have scored, it was whether it would have been 3 or 6... at least IMO

StLouis definitely opened up the playbook for this one. The punt return fake and the punt fake completion by kicker. Not sure how they determined who's ball that was or not at the end. It looked like it was in between Sherman's legs then you couldn't tell where the ball went. This might have been the refs evening out the fuck up in the GB game last year which cost GB the game on the infamous interception that wasn't? What comes around goes around maybe. Tough loss for sure.
