I am an avid YANKEE fan, and although they have been playing like CRAP thus far, BASEBALL is a very long season...

Before betting against the YANKEES, ask yourself when was the last time they did NOT make the PLAYOFFS and also ask yourself, what are the odds that the YANKEES pull of a blockbuster trade if they have to in order to make the Playoffs?

I would still bet on them to make the Playoffs even at this price...

empty Farm system with NO prospects. If they made a trade it would have to be where they give up value. Nobody is going to take one of those bad contracts they have on Giambi,Brown, Mussina etc.

I think if my memory is correct, I"ve been keeping up with Baseball between 35-40 years, Baseball has always been real streaky, the NY Yankees are on one of those bad streaks. dont worry before this season is over the Yankees will get it all together, when a team is strugling like the Yankees, nothing comes real easy, its been like that ever since I followed Baseball.

They just don't have the pitching this year, Its a below average pitching staff, Pinny prop is now -162 to NOT make playoffs. That prop is gettting hammered

You dont have to worry about the Yankees trying to trade Mussina, you can bet all the tea in china on that.
