You can have Morelli and his a hole father. Trust me when I tell you this, Morelli and his dad will cause nothing but grief up there in Happy Valley. The kid is a knucklehead when it comes to football knowledge. I will take either Palko or Getsy over Morelli any day of the week.

LOL Morelli has the arm and he will learn under JoePa. Sacca wasn't anything until Franny put him under his wing and turned out great. It was the same with Collins. Plus Morelli has a better arm than both of them combined.

Actually I was kidding about Casey and maybe even Mills. What has happen to Mills?? The above examples you gave are of qbs that improved or turned out somewhat ok. Mills has regressed unbelievably in the last 2 years.
Remember what I said about Morelli, he may have the arm but you cant just throw up jump balls when you get to this level. He isnt bright at all and when these D-Coordinators see this after a couple of games he will be done.
I may be wrong in my assesment of Morelli, but I am going to put my money on he will be a bust.

Oh yeah, how is that hoops team doing up there in Penn State this year?? Do I recall an old fashion a$$ kicking administered by the number 3 team in the country that they both on a team wearing blue and white earlier this year???

Yeah yeah I think it's still sour grapes from the Pitt faithful about Morelli.
I'm more worried about who Morelli will throw to than about the QB himself. WE had a great recruiting year so the real weakness of this team (defense) will hopefully shore up. The program hasn't recovered from the Minnesota debacle and since Jerry left the D has nose dived into oblivion.
Joe will retire when he's ready. He's earned the right to decide when enough is enough. I'm in the alum group that says let him run the team til he says it's over for him. He's not the only reason we've been bad lately.
Hoops was good for awhile under Dunn (I had the fortunate edge of knowing the guy pretty well and he was a great coach for what he accomplished). It's now back to rebuilding. $hitt won't last..they're just lucky that they've been able to steal OUR recruits the last few years!

No sour grapes at all SB. The 2 so called prize recruits that changed thier mind on Pitt (Morelli and Andrew Johnson) are really no big lost. You know my feelings on Morelli, great arm no brains. He will drive Joe Pa nuts, mark my words. The other kid Johnson who went to Miami is a candy a$$. This kid will be lucky if he ever plays one down in a Hurricane uniform. Mark my words on that one to.
I think by those 2 leaving is more of a reflection on how The Big East Football has gone to the crapper. I am a Pitt season ticket holder and I am not really fired up about the teams that will be coming in here as part of the new Big East. Also, I feel "NO FAULT" Walt Harris must go if Pitt is to continue to improve on the gridiron. I think Harris has taken this team as far as he can. I will admit that he brought Pitt back from the dead when he got here, but the improvement has leveled off. He has top of the line facilities but his rep as a horrible game day coach who doesnt hestitate to pass the blame onto someone else has caught up to him.

Was at this game in a box which a bunch of Western PA lobbyists....2nd half of the game was great. You could actually see Pitt wake up....they'll be able to do this against the Gtown's of the world, but if they pull this crap on someone like Duke, Okl St, Miss St, Stanford, etc, they'll never dig themselves out.
