I am torn here. On one hand losing a pair of hands like him can't be good for a team with reciever problems already before this. Jurivicious is beat up and only recently been able to suit up. On the other side I wonder if Gruden will go out of his way to win this one. He's got to want to show that they can win without Key, a lot at stake here. I don't think he was popular in the locker room either though I don't know for sure. Will the players have a little extra tonight too?

Scale of 1 - 10 does it help or hurt overall not having him tonight?

For the record I think it actually helps them tonight. I don't know about long term but for the immediate short term there is plenty of extra motivation tonight. Doesn't happen often but when these overpaid milion-aires really want something they play like it. I see a hungry, intense team tonight out there winning by double digits. For the long term a bad move, for tonight I think it's just what they need.

Or at least just what the cappers need.

Will hurt Bucs.

9 on scale of 10

ps- Bucs still post a W though and could possibly do it impressively. However, losing K.J. can in no way be the reason though. In fact, if Bucs dont make the playoffs, they should fire Gruden.

Mrs. Jones picked the Giants and I fade her picks. I don't think it will hurt tonight. Later it will.

But I agree with Fish. If they don't make the playoffs fire Gruden. I would check into Leeman Bennett, and if he ain't selling too many trailers, give the guy a second chance.

I believe in second chances for him and Bucko Bruce too.

Yeah fire the guy that got them to the Super Bowl,lol..

With the Bucs record how can it hurt?

Gruden really is on the hot seat now because either way he can't win in the public eye...Unless the team rebounds and gets in the playoffs and goes deep into postseason (which won't happen)

Fish\McPatrick

Please move this to the sports forum. That's what they are for, after all.

Thanks!

LMAO!! Where's our Leeman Bennett at? I would only take him if that stud Ray Perkins was not avaialable. Between the three of them Bucko Bruce had the most football smarts.

On a serious note I did feel we gave up way too much for Gruden. I guess winning a ring helps all that but two #1 picks, two #2 draft picks, and $8,000,000 in cash? Seems like a heavy price for a coach. Some love the guy but he's on my overrated list.

TampaBay had a dream draw last year in the playoffs and then Barrett Robbins went awol, Keyshawn is the perfect scapegoat for Gruden being inadequate himself.

Pat, Lander would have given all of that PLUS his left testicle for a Super Bowl Ring in Buffalo

I think with him in or out, this team is in disarray, and should be a play against or a pass. I think the spread tonight is pretty accurate, meaning this game should be a small "token bet to watch" or a passola.
