Will Jameis Winston's NFL Career Be As Good As Fellow/Former FSU QB Brad Johnson?

I say Jameis Winston won't even be as good an NFL QB as his former/fellow FSU QB Brad Johnson.

Therefore, is he really worth a 1st or 2nd pick overall?

Johnson had a solid career.

Odds are against most first round QB's having a good NFL career.

My point is, I don't see Winston being even as good as Brad Johnson, who wasn't a superstar, or even a star. He was just good.

And in my opinion you don't spend a high pick on him... (Or Mariota)

Good one. He is worse than Dalton. Making pro Bowls is overated anymore. Basically 4 or 5 quarterbacks go to the pro bowl. This Year, no Brady, Manning, Rivers, Roethlisberger, Flacco. So half of the AFC quarterbacks made the pro bowl

Winston couldn't be have himself in Tallahasse.. Pay him millions and I am sure he will be different. Not to mention, when was the last time a stupid quarterback succeeded? His best chance to succeed is as a rookie.

The ONLY reason Winston & Mariota are even being considered to go #1 is because they are basically the ONLY QB's worth considering.

In other recent drafts, they would go later behind much better QB prospects...

Winston has maturity issues (although he showed that hes grown up a little at The Rose Bowl), but hes much more ready to play in the NFL that Manziel or RG II based solely on the offense he ran in college. And I disagree with packer, I think Manziel is a much bigger piece of trash

I aint going to lie, I was damn impressed with Winston at the college level. I thought he was great.

He had a better college career than Wilson. However, I'm afraid he might have problems in the pros. And I mean once he gets that cash money.
