IMO you cant compare Young and Russell.... Young won 8 games his first year as a starter and 9 games in his second. Yes it looks like sitting for a little has helped Young, but Young came into this league and won. Hopefully for Russel's sake he hasn't been a pig with the guaranteed money. Because at best I see him being a third stringer somewhere.
