Hillary Clinton returns to Washington – and to the site of her last government gig – to celebrate the completion of new museum space at the State Department.
Clinton will be joined by other secretaries at an opening ceremony for the U.S. Diplomacy Center Pavilion, a 40,000-foot addition to the Foggy Bottom compound, where members of the public can learn about American diplomacy through artifacts and simulations.
One of the four exhibition halls will be named after Clinton who, according to the Washington Post, revived the project when she was at the helm of the State Department, tasking Clinton donor and pal Elizabeth Frawley Bagley to raise funds for the public-private partnership.

Hillary Clinton has only appeared twice in Washington since her defeat: At the Children's Defense Fund gala a week after Donald Trump won (left) and in December at the portrait unveiling on Capitol Hill for outgoing Sen. Harry Reid (right)

The former Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton was also caught hiking in the woods by locals, which became inspiration for a Saturday Night Live skit

Others will be named after former secretaries James A. Baker and Henry Kissinger, with current Secretary of State John Kerry getting one too.
The museum was originally the brainchild of former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, who broke ground for it in 2000, as Bill Clinton's presidency was coming to an end.
The project stalled during the eight years that Republican President George W. Bush was in the White House.
Now just Clinton's hall and the Kissinger portion of the building, the latter of which contains a 14-foot section of the Berlin Wall, are completed.
Another $20 million will need to be raised to complete the Kerry and Baker sections of the museum.

During Clinton's tenure at the State Department an estimated $50 million, reported the Post, was raised for the endeavor.
Tomorrow she'll be joined by Kerry, Albright and Colin Powell, who served as secretary of state under George W. Bush.
Each of the secretaries are expected to make short remarks.
The Democratic nominee has kept a low profile since her surprise loss to Trump in last year's presidential election.
This State Department appearance would be the third time she's spoken publicly in Washington, D.C.
A makeup-free Clinton addressed the Children's Defense Fund's Beat the Odds gala on November 16, telling the audience that it was difficult for her to come a week after her defeat.
'I will admit, coming here tonight wasn't the easiest thing for me,' Clinton said. 'There have been a few times this past week where all I wanted to do was curl up with a good book and our dogs and never leave the house again.'

But Clinton did leave the house, as she was spotted several times walking around the woods near her home in Chappaqua, New York, and also in the local grocery store.
Clinton's photos with supporters became such an online sensation that Saturday Night Live parodied them with a skit entitled 'The Hunt for Hill,' with Kate McKinnon playing the elusive former secretary of state, who's being pursued in the woods like Bigfoot.
Returning to D.C. in early December, Clinton joked about her reputation as a forlorn former candidate roaming the forests of New York.
'This is not exactly the speech at the Capitol I hoped to be giving after the election,' she said at a dedication ceremony for a portrait of outgoing Democratic Senate Leader Harry Reid.
'But after a few weeks of taking selfies in the woods, I thought it would be a good idea to come out,' she said.
