Illinois +6.5 at home is looking kinda tempting.

Talk me out of it - or into it.

I'm a psu homer but when it comes to $ I try to let my emotions out of it...

penn state just got it's best offensive linemen back from an acl tear this past summer. Their oline has sucked all season. It actually looked pretty good against an "ok" temple rush defense. Illinois has one of the worst rush defenses in the country.

penn states defense is nasty...one of the best in the nation (ranked top 3 in major categories including #1 rush defense and #3 scoring) points will be hard to come by for illinois

penn state players remember Illinois coaches camped out on their campus when the sanctions hit and the NCAA opened up free agency to psu players....they did not take kindly to that and thy don't forget about it

i wouldn't recommend putting $ on psu to cover however there is no way I would put money on Illinois to cover...the under could come into play here ? I think Indiana is a better team than Illinois and they didn't get past the 33 yard line on this defense...their only score was a pick 6 which was a great defense play / read by the safety on a wr screen pass

I personally think PSU wins by 10+ but wouldn't put $ on it ....however I'm calling an upset over Michigan St. in happy valley next week you heard it here first

Illinois has lost 5 out of their last 6 games S/U and is 3-7 ATS this season. In what should be a low scoring game, I would want at least 7 1/2 before I wagered on the Illini.

They did cover if you got it at 5 when it came out
and they should have covered at 7...horrible in the red zone...had 1st and goal at 1 and settled for a fg....the oline has been garbage all season up until last week....hackenberg is rattled and completely off his game..has no confidence in the oline to protect him or the wr's to run correct routes consistently ...he has made some bonehead decisions but he is a much better qb than many here think....the oline is just god awful

i still wouldn't put money on them .....except next week I will have a small wager on the money line

Might be some value to be had. Lunt looked rusty against Iowa his first game back but he could throw for a few td's and that would be hard for penn st to cover a 7 pt spread.

Last week, Penn State looks good and Illinois looks terrible. Penn State might be looking ahead to Michigan St too. Illinois or nothing for me.

2 fade teams going head to head. Should probably avoid at all costs.
