I just hope what GB did isn't pushing BAS to the point where he is re-thinking being here at all. It's a tough job, especially when you have to deal with that kind of bullshit.

Obviously we can't discuss everything openly.


But many of you guys have been around a long time, and there's no harm in telling you that BAS & I usually discuss things before making a call on a regular member.

When everyone was at each other's throats in the Rubber Room, the reported posts were pouring in with complaints about each other.

But we decided together that everyone knew just how far they could take it without breaking RR rules.

I'm not sure what pushed Greenbacks to the point of taking it into offshore and other parts of the forum.

But when he did, BAS made the decision to limit him, and understandably so, just like I made the same decision with Sunshine.

We don't question or second guess each other when making such decisions.

I haven't spoken to GB, and I'm sure BAS hasn't either.

I'd like to hear from him and understand what happened.

As for banishment, his posts are already limited and won't get thru, so since BAS has been the one dealing with GB, I'll let him decide what he wants to do since we normally don't meddle when one of us has a history of interaction with a particular poster, as explained above.

Ha...Some of us pegged this guy as a huge liability, others didn't.

Its better to be right than to be liked. I wanted to ban him so bad when I was a mod but couldn't quite pull the trigger. Too bad that thread is no longer there. I just saw this right now.

Great post, good info. You guys deal with a lot of weird shit, and I respect y'all for doing such a good job with it.

I'm not really sure what went wrong with GB, as I don't know the guy well enough. I doubted what guys like Patsfan said about him having a negative impact on site traffic, because he seemed to make a lot of popular pick threads/seems like a good capper in general.

But over the last month or so, I could see where Patsfan was coming from. It made me cringe just reading the shit that he posted down in the RR..to the point where I could see why people would be driven away from the site solely because of him.

I hope the guy finds the help that he clearly needs. But I'm very glad the Rx looks to be getting rid of/limiting him. There's no room for him here. It'll get better with him finally gone

I guess I had nothing to really compare it to given I'm relatively new to the site. I could only really notice it when the generally feuding in the RR stopped, and it was Greenbacks just by himself down there doing his thing. It became a lot more obvious at that point.
