I agree

He's losing ground quickly and should go out before it gets too bad and is Remembered in that form

Ditto, Anytime you come to a "not sure if you 'll want to come back" it's time to go generally speaking.

Hello no. Fuck retiring.

He plays one more year he gets... .15 million?

Play a 2nd year and get another 15 million...

Hell, do a 3rd year and just sit on the bench and don't play..... that's 15 million more.

I'd play until I was 75 years old if I were him.

Hard to pass up money on the table or if he has that Kobe/Farve competitive drive it has got to be really hard to walk away. I always enjoyed D Wade.

+1....Look at Tony Parker out there making 15mill this season.

Problem for D Wade is the Heat have a big payroll already and may not want to pay to keep him around. Although they probably should as they're an average team and having a legend on the team will help sell tickets.

Also, people say "He's hurting his legacy" but when's the last time someone mentioned Hakeem Olajuwan playing on the Raptors to you? Those memories fade over time, nobody talking about MJ on the Wizards. Laidainian Tomlinson being the Jets 3rd down back, etc...There's a million examples like that.

Tony,Dirk & Dwayne all 3 had great runs.

Going out as bench players is a bad look.

It's time

What else are you gonna do?

I'd keep playing. They would have to kick me out. Not like it is football where you run the risk of getting fucked up.

Some of these guys can be decent bench players in the right role too. Ginobili still gave the Spurs something off the bench this year.

They are good examples of people, but we know for certain Jordan WANTED to play badly...I guess the others also.... Wade "isn't sure" if he wants to play...at least that's what he said. When he comes to a decision that he wants to play, will a few million dollars make any difference... Maybe so ..maybe not.

When he says he isn't sure, that likely just means it depends how many 0's is on that check.

I'm sure if Miami give him a nice deal he would like to be back. But probably doesn't wanna comeback for a few mill a year.

Remember those BLM "I can't Breathe" shirts?

I forget who the comedian was, but he said that was about Shaq last season with the Celtics. Good 1.

I believe it was Chris D’Elia during a Comedy Central roast of Shaq.

I think he plays another year, wants to take the Heat a little farther before he hangs them up

What sucks in the NBA, you already know the Heat have zero chance of winning a title in either of the next two years, unless maybe James comes back and they add another FA

If James selects the Sixers as his next team I am sure Wade would follow at a discount....
