Looks like a three horse race and I don't see Brother Derek making up the seven or eight lengths by which he lost the Derby. I'll give Sweetnorthernsaint a chance due to the trouble but I still like Barbaro.

Not so sure now, with a tiny field--as opposed to before with more speed signed up.
The one dominant speedster will try to speed pop the field, while BD & SNS will stalk-while-shadow-tag-teaming Barbaro(neither of them will go for the lead unless if Barbaro is in front alone)-- who will have no choice but to go for the throat of the front-runner on that speed-aiding strip.
We may see a Preakness replay of Smarty Jone's Belmont, and he will certainly have his work cut our for him.

I will be taking my shot with Brother D. Strange race. Almost every horse in the field is speed/tactical speed. Only horse from off the pace is Zito's horse. Has worked miracles before. Should be a huge price. Any other trainer but Zito, and I wouldn't consider the nag.
