I am interested in the NY reaction. He did have a great year.....but again.....

A great year is capped off with a great post season performance. Granted he got them there, but what does that mean if you get knocked out in the first round every game?

Arod played well enough. Nothing spectacular, but not notably bad. Nobody else on the Yanks stepped it up the entire series either. The 2-1 loss was a crushing blow.

Even with all the struggles the Yanks have had , the pain they have caused the haters in the past just never seems to go away.

Any pain from the past becomes more and more a distant memory as the Yanks continue to stink up the postseason each and every year, being unable to even get out of the first round for three straight years and winning no flags for seven. None of that changes the fact that you were flapping your gums when they greased into the playoffs, but when they got squashed like a cockroach, you were nowhere to be found...
