The guy was an asshole. Good riddance.
He was the Joey Crawford of the forum. Thought the attention should be on him instead of the understanding the posters made him and the site what it was.
if that's all it was, the traffic would've actually improved once he was gone. at that point, everyone who he drove away would've been happy to come back.
except the opposite happened - the traffic was much higher when he was here and then totally crashed after he was gone.
as most know, the sbr forum had the exact same thing happen to it, but the known cause was sbr's shady affiliate dealings with scam books. that's why most people left there and will never go back, because sbr was guilty of both assisting in the theft of and lying to its customers.
like everyone's said, moderators come and go - they, alone, do not account for major traffic swings.
it takes a major violation of trust between a site and its customers for the kind of collapse that sbr, the rx, and other sites have experienced.
I think the guy took himself a little too seriously at times. I personally seen him try to use his "status" here to his advantage. Like being head mod at the rx was some kind of huge accomplishment. He really thought it made him something special. It always makes me laugh when I think about the situations. Kinda like... "I'm shift manager at this here McDonald's, ill make the decisions around here."
I always thought Will was a really good dude who seemed to go out of his was to help players (set up the bash, etc).
Agree with above sometimes got a little power hungry but what mod around here doesn't. I think the final straw however with some posters was the book that was pushed and pushed and pushed here (can't even remember the name of it) and everyone was told it was legit, 100% solid, yada yada. Then when a bunch of people lost their money, it seemed no one did a thing and it was kind of brushed under the rug.
I know I lost a ton of confidence in the offshore world after that and even more faith in any book that sponsors here (fair or not).

I like the current mods and I don't think any of them are power hungry at all. Also never felt that way about Funk or Dante...
