I liked it there but it is different. And I think that any kind of pollution control is out the window. The worst part though is that San Jose is so poor. Here is a photo that I took just a couple weeks ago.

This isn't the standard for most but rather an example of how bad it really is in parts. A lot of people that have never been there think this is the tropics. But the reality is that San Jose is a major city. No beaches, no chicks in bikini's.

It was a good show but really over-emphasized all the partying stuff a little too unrealistically. They obviously had to make it more interesting, especially by having wet t-shirt contests and Playboy playmates sitting in waterfalls and getting massages. You won't ever see that happening if you go there.

I agree there a some, or alot of poor areas in C.R, but for the people who have never been to "other" cities and countries your photo is not doing justice to this Country,
You could take pics of many cities in the USA and see worst, yes USA the so called 1st world,try the South to start.
Then take some pics, of the forest, and waterfalls and rivers and beaches in C.R
then take some pics of the USA, with the 2.5 foot lawns and houses attached for two blocks and 10,000000000000000 pounds of CONCRETE.

Nobody said it was paradise. The place has problems, but everyplace does. Go outside the central valley and it can be great.
