Why would I ever place a bet on a "Parlay Card"??

The odds are lower then a regular parlay. What advantage does the card have over a regular parlay that i'm missing?

You are correct. However, there are instances where on a parlay card when you may be getting significant value on certain lines and you may want to go that avenue. You will have to do the math on it and see if it is worth it or not to bet the parlay card at the reduced odds with better lines or to bet it off the board.

i do parlays because I want to get the same return as a big bettor but i wanna risk less.

thats the only reason..it gives me more units.

Plus I gamble for fun. I wouldn't recommend it if you hate losing!! you lose most of the time.

getting "stale" lines is the only real reason. Otherwise they are total sucker bets.

drunkguy----- 7 pt. NFL teasers -110....6 pt NFL teasers EV.......14.5-5 two-team parlays.........& 7-1 three-team parlays.

These are far far from being sucker plays.

As a suggestion you may want to look into these betting options. They can increase your bottom line dramatically. Good luck drunkguy.

not talking about teasers or parlays being a bad bet necessarily. I am talking abour parlay cards being almost always a bad bet because of the reduced payout.

Agree with your post above 6 pt teasers can be beat and 3 team parlays are a decent play. almost always use this kind of thing for matchplay bonuses, etc.

The 5 8 team parlays i have won the last two years has engineered plenty of my betting on 1 team large losses

I have no problems betting a few $5 8 team parlays to win a dime every now and then. I'm way down betting 1 team plays..but betting 4 or more team parlays..i way UP! I've hit quite of few of them.

this i've been told is because i bet too many games
