Had Aramis Ramirez will have an RBI +115.

I understand there was a pitching change, but that has never canceled a prop for me. It's not like the prop was for listed pitchers only...

Prop was listed as:

<table><tbody><tr><td colspan="2">Aramis Ramirez (Cubs) Will He Record a RBI - Must Start</td> </tr> <tr> <td width="220"> Yes
No </td> <td> 06/25/08(20:05 ET)
Yes +115</td></tr></tbody></table>

I have seen lots of props that are listed pitchers. Not saying ur's was but if it was graded no action that would be my guess why.

How about because the game isn't over? My book doesn't grade props until the event is done

I would have to say the price of Ramiriz getting an RBI was handicapped with the original starter in mind. When he was replaced it changed the dynamic involved between pitcher and batter.

Say for example the Cubs were scheduled to play the Mets with Johan Santana the scheduled starter (their ace) but he couldn't go and the Mets brought up a pitcher from the minors for a start. Ramiriz is now facing a pitcher with as far as anyone knows much less skill than Santana. Natrually he is more apt to get a hit and thus a possible RBI off the minor leaguer than he is if Santana was pitching.

Shouldn't it specify listed pitchers only if that is the case? Cause it did not.

I understand the concept that the price would most certainly change with a pitching change, especially one of the magnitude you used as an example.

I guess my question is that if a prop does not specify LISTED only, shouldn't it be action?

Good point but there may be a standing automatic rule that hitting props are all graded LP only. Check in the master baseball rules section of the book involved.

Funny thing. I had that prop +115 and the Cubs -180. Logged on prior to first pitch and saw Aramis prop and Cubs graded No Action (I DID specify listed on Cubs).

I went to re-bet, and Aramis prop was OTB. And the Cubs were now -178? WTF, line went DOWN in BAL favor?

My prop on that game was cancelled as well - but ticket marked with
* Game Notes:
B.Burres & T.Lilly must start for action

So, it was expected.

Not my last one at this book.

The last prop I had at this book was the Cubs team total over when Dempster was facing someone (several weeks ago). Opposing pitcher scratched and my prop was still graded as WIN.

That's why the confusion. Cubs TT definitely more tied to a pitching change than and individual player prop...

No biggie anyway.

My point exactly. Should be noted on ticket if that is the case.
