I don't agree with any assassinations but when it is a political figure I "get it". Almost every decision they make or don't make will piss someone off....sometimes the wrong person or wrong group with the right amount of crazy.

But wasn't this guy a pastor and someone trying to bring peace and equality to the world?

Someone enlighten me. I don't read history books or 10 page wiki entries....but I'll read a 40 page thread on this forum....maybe you guys can teach me something on this day.

and it isn't only about the one guy that killed him....as I understand it, he was always provided mass security because of a lot of threats

Yea, if he were alive today wonder what role Cuzz Al and Jessie would play? MLK prob tell them they doing the black population no justice

I was there in the 60s.....lived it.....


It is so hard for me to imagine stuff like this. I'm glad I live in a time where it isn't like that anymore. Wish my lifespan was another 50+ years down the road so I experience even less racism

News flash....racism is still the same as it was back then, but not as open as it was....

Problem with racism is that it is taught by others....

I find it interesting that MLK's family believe that James Earl Ray was NOT the man that shot MLK.

They're not the only one's who feel that way.
