Why the Hell is Oregon St Hosting a Post Season Tournament?

What is a team with a 13-17 record even doing playing in the post season? Its not like the Beavers closed the year on a roll, they ended losing their last 4 games, and somehow parlay that into getting 3 straight home games in this CBI tourney and now they also host the finals against UTEP.

UTEP drew over 7,000 fans to their home game last week while Oregon St has been drawing 4,000 to theirs so it makes even less sense.

So what is the point of rewarding this team and stacking the tournament so much in their favor?

they are not hosting the finals.. its a best of 3 series... first game is at oregon state, the second two are at UTEP

The first game will be played March 30 at Corvallis, Ore. The second game will be at El Paso on April 1, and the third (if necessary) will be back in Corvallis on April 3.

Because Obama's brother in-law coaches Oregon State......................No way this team should be hosting shit................Oregon St. shouldn't even be in this tourney let alone hosting.........

I may have some bad info funnyb, the CBI site does say the game 3 would be at UTEP.

Anyway, who did Oregon St pay off to even get in this thing
