Why so many complaints about books at the RX?

By far the most complaint threads of any of the good forums. Why is this so prevalent at the RX and not other sites?

I've used 20 books each one has their good and bad points. I don't try and screw the books. I place my wagers and when I win I get paid. When I lose I take my lumps like an adult. If something questionable ever happend ( it usually doesn't to most above board gamblers) I would take it up out side the forums and not post about it.

Just poor class to make small issues into big ones on these forums IMO.

LMAO!! Are you even aware this is the ONLY site that was able to get bettors paid that were being STIFFED these last few weeks? SBR and TOW helped too. When a player was being robbed of $85,000, he was ignored by most sites, no actually he was told WE ARE NOT GOING TO HELP YOU! The RX got involed when posters here refused to let it die. He was eventually paid in full. The RX is the place to come to for help. And yes, player complaints are posted here more than any other. For good reason, the player knows he is going to get results.

The fact that theRX allows posters to openly discuss problems regardless if the book is an advertiser or not is a POSITIVE sign. It means the site respects its advertisers but, and most important, CARES about its posters.

The fact that theRX willingfully participates in the Watchdog network and works with other sites to SOLVE players disputes sets a significant difference between this site and other forums.

No wonder the vast majority of posters say that theRX is in the Major League.

Rob, I don't think that is accurate. I think people at other sites keep the complaints off the board and handle disputes with site administrators and the book directly. I have seen so many post whining for the Generals help. Most times it seems as if the player has done or was trying to do something shady.

Each complaint has its peculiarities Stickie. Most never make it to the forum since they are being handled behind doors.

The ones that hit the forum are usually the most complex. Undoubtfully you will find some "shot takers" every now and then.

However I have noticed that theRX has quality posters that are usually able to expose doubtful claims within a blink of an eye.

My point 'Stickie' is that this website has 1000's of posters , not the same 10 guys shooting the breeze about "who is on Conan"....this website is what it is, because of the strength in its membership.

I think any book, even the non advertisers will do everything possible to stay in the good graces of The Rx readers,I have seen it first hand many times....that is also 'strength in numbers'

From the books side you just dont want the RX constituency ranting about your shortcomings..In this industry..sometimes..no news..good news..

My perspective is there are many competent books who dont get name recognition but exist under the radar..Like in the real world, the victim gets the play..

Others, like TheRx, actively work to solve each problem.

I would prefer to see complaints out in the open and judge for myself whether its legitimate or not. There are many customer service type complaints, some that would concern me, others that would not. The more info the better IMO.

If there is good communication and honesty, then you can get solid help at TheRx with disagreements between gaming sites and players. When there is outright dishonesty by a gaming site or player, it is much tougher to get help from anyone or any site. TheRx tries very hard to help in dispute resolution. Barring outright lies and physical threats, a gaming site and/or player has a friend in TheRx. As for physical threats, whether from a player or gaming site, there is a time to ponder and ask yourself if it is worth the effort, especially when you have family members to consider in the equation. I have been involved with disagreements between players and the TOP of the TOP online gaming sites. If you only had the top 3 gaming sites in the world as advertisers, there will still be disagreements, but the advantage is in the fact you are dealing with operators who have shown they will not compromise their reputations and integrity to intentionally try and steal.
