Just because a big shiny glitter ball falls out of the NYC sky into a waiting new year crowd is not enough....

Human beings are too instinctive and conditioned for any so called "New Years resolutions" LOL, it really is comical to read or hear someone say "I`m gonna quit smoking starting tomorrow"! or "I`m gonna hit the gym first thing Jan 1" IMPOSSIBLE to flip on what years of neglect or bad habits have created....We all want to get back to a better time in our life but its just not that easy, whether its overweight, a gambling addict, or to quit a bad habit, its all about reality...And the reality is it won`t happen overnight, the best way to start is very slowly and writing down progress with each step in the right direction....

Me for instance , I decided I would 'try' to quit eating junk food....And what did my instinctive stomach crave for? Some Nacho Cheese Dip!!!!

Make a list check it twice and find out who`s ....wait , wait...wrong list!

Write down progress to review and remind is what I think is the best way to resolve issues within..

Good Luck to everyone who wanted to quit smoking or run a marathon by Jan 5, you will need it!

First time back to the gym in over 5 months, I got to the gym this morning at 6:30am, worked out for an hour, got to work at 8am. I feel great, ready to keep doing it now.....and I'm not a morning person, but if I lay off the alcohol too, it will be even easier

. I also now have a great partner who knows his sh*t about working out, so that's good too.

Justin,

I went to the gym for 5 straight yrs.....4 times a week.....2 hrs a day with a great gym partner. He moved and I stopped going! Its all depends on who you work out with. Its vital!

I am a gym regular and I always take a break in the month of Jan. until all of those New Year's resolution people quit again. It takes about a month until they all go back to the couches from where they came. Go into a Bally's on Jan 1 and you will see an ocean of clueless people on how to use the equipment, or gym etiqutte.

journyman, good post. I do the shit for about two weeks, and then revert back to my same old lame self. Look at 9-11. for about 2 months everyone in nyc was nice to each other. things settled down, and now everyone is back to the rude status quo.

Instead of going to the gym two hours before work why don't you go to work two hours early instead and see if you can't fix your lame website. Just a thought. Happy New Year

Oh, do you mean if I was a computer tech and I knew about something about computers, what a DoS attack is or how to block one, with what equipement??? Unfortunately harington, I'm a customer service and marketing rep and I think I do those jobs pretty well. Believe me, I'd like to know more about computers, but homework was never my thing. I don't know what is being done by our ISP, I just hear a few things here and there from ITS. Again, we apologize for the site being down....
BTW, harington, if you could email me your account number, we're trying to accomodate some individuals personally.
Thank you.
