News and Notes
Aug 9 Kurt Warner got his first taste of live action after an offseason spent rehabbing his right hand, elbow, and shoulder, and the results weren't pretty. Although he completed three of four passes, Warner threw an ugly pick and took a harsh sack in Friday night's 7-6 loss to the Raiders. "It wasn't too bad for the first time back out there," said Warner. "Obviously, I made the one mistake, but we're going to learn and get better."
RobFunk: yea. .'I' made the one mistake but 'we're' going to learn and get better. I'm sure it was also faulk's, holt's and bruce's fault that he went 3 td's and 11 int's to start the '02 campaign. yea whatver. kurt, let's face it, you suck. 1 good season tossin the rock to two elite recivers in their prime and the best all purpose RB 100% healthy behind a great o-line and very opportunistic defense it is'nt hard for you or 500 other average white boys in good shape and health to pick up a MVP award. ever since the injurys, he has done nothing. he looks incompentent and unimpressive on the field, and in interviews often sounds dumb and unintelligble. why does st.louis stick with the 1 yr. wonder?! I think the rams have emmitt -idious, a disease that plagues teams where they drift back to 5 or 10 years ago when a guy used to be good, thinking he is still capable despite numerous injurys or signifigant age increase. I just don't get it. the rams have had tons of looks at guy(s) more capable than kurt yet they stick with the grocery bagger who probably couldnt compete in arena football at the level he once did. some one get a clue in that st.louis organization please. its affecting my handicapping. I will even go out on a limb and say that Kurt could'nt hold chris simms jock strap at this point. pennington probably has a better deep ball at this stage. well, at least he throws balls that fly 10 yards a lot more consisently.
