Why isn't tonights games both on TV?

I have a tough time believeing that they both won't be on, but all i see are the yankees on at 8pm and nothing about the cubs game?

This is stupid...how come ESPN is not carring the other game. You would think that MLB would want the most exposure for the league championship.

ESPN is showing an NHL exhibition game instead of the NLCS game??? And this game is on FX (not an abbreviation for Fox). I don't think I've ever watched the FX channel. Isn't that mostly just movies and The Orlando Jones Show?

Good question. Last week they televised the 1st round during staggered times throughout the day.

I don't think I can remember a playoff game for a major sport being shown on any network other than major networks or ESPN.

I'm pretty sure ESPN isn't carrying the other game because FOX has the rights to the playoffs and ESPN is owned by Disney/ABC. They wouldn't want to allow a competing network to show a game.

Then again some of the divisional series was on espn but maybe that was because there were so many games.

I think it depends on where you live as to which game is on Fox and which is on FX. I think they did the same thing last year or sometime in the past? WIth how slow baseball can be you can watch 2 games at once, better then them showing only one game in your area like they have done in the past.

jwunderdog is right.One game is on FOX and the other is on FX.
Unless the dummies put the same game on both channels.
I also would rather see one game in the afternoon and the other at night.

I think its because Fox has exclusive on the Divsion and World Series...and they dont want to share. Unfortuatly I dont get FX so I will be at Dave and Busters tonight to watch both.
