Canbet is top notch in my opinion. They may not have as a many betting options as other books but they are 200 times better than half of the sites advertised here. I have never done buisness with a group of more ethical human beings in my life. They pay in less than 5 min every single time!

Why the hell aren't they listed in the preferred section here at the RX?

I mean do sites have to pay in order to be listed as a reputable?

Since when can any scummy company come here to the RX and pay their way to good press?

I thought the RX was about informing players of sports news and leading them to reputable companies who are not scam operations.

Guess the allmighty dollar finally got to you guys.

I still play there occasionally but they have been slowly reducing the sports that they do at -107. They are slow to put up lines. Their futures odds aren't great either.

Good things still:

-107 on NBA and NFL. 10 cent line on baseball and +100 on 2 team 6 point football teasers.

They cancelled all their affiliate rebate deals. A lot of sites dropped them. Not sure if thats the deal here, but no one's going to run their ads for free.

See article at www.theoffshorewire.com regarding Canbet and Mansion
What the f u k does this have to do with my question? That article puts mansion in a bad light not canbet.

FROM THIS OFFSHORE WIRE SITE :
Based on the findings during our due diligence we have rated Mansion 3 (High Risk Book) and, given the information gathered, we do not encourage players to sign up with this book at this time.

I know advertising is not free but how the hell can 80 percent of the books listed in the preferred section even be there? I would not reccomend some of those books to my worst enemies

Did you read the article ? Canbet lost customers to Mansion, volume way down. Both are looking less than stellar. I've always liked Canbet.

Their affiliate program is a mess. I don't know if it's defunct or active, but it's screwy that's for sure.

Um.. ok

They still pay in less than 5 min every single time.

I could really care less if they pay their affiliate dues. This leads into my orginal question. Do books have to pay for advertising in order to get the stamp of approval by the RX?

I have had no problem with Canbet, received a payout about 3 weeks ago promptly. Futures aren't what they use to be but they had to do something. When you can get OK ST, Gonzaga, anf providence 100 /1 while in top 10 in hoops you are flirting with disaster

Not sure how the Rx was compensated by Canbet but I do know it is VERY frustrating to build a nice residual base for a sportsbook and then have them cancel the program.

I believe that Canbet recently changed management and I think maybe ownership. I am sure someone here knows more about that than I do. If they did change that probably explains why they aren't on the list.

I had a big problem at Canbet with a payout a few years ago that was made a lot worse by a nasty cs rep there named Julie or Julia. I'll never do business there again. Too many better books out there, IMO.

They would only let me bet $200 on the monday night football game yesterday and $100 on the first half. They should be called can't bet.

Ias

Canbet are now 100% owned by IAS Bets, this was entirely a rescue deal for peanuts price.

IAS have a very different approach to bookmaking, not keen on taking on sharps at all.

Forget opinionated lines. Forget -107 juice (already started squeezing this out.)
But at least financially it is now a more solid book.
