Why is this site so slow around 6pm eastern

Same question I posted yesterday except it's not just around this time each day, it's all day and evening but worse late afternoon. I wonder if this relates to the problems a few weeks ago and if anything is being done to stop this.

Agreed. I don't come here as often anymore, and when I do, it's at midnight. If the stingy owner wants to maximize profits by spending the least possible on bandwidth, I guess he doesn't need more hits from me.

Joe Worker gets home at 5pm, has his dinner, pops a frosty and checks e-mails and stuff.
All Joe Workers do the same thing around 6pm.

It's traffic.

I'm on 8 different websites at one time and rx is the only one moving like a snail..not buying the joe worker traffic line at all

Same here. I have 11 windows open and this site is the only one that is slow. I have 6 mg broadband and the other sites download in just a couple of seconds, here it's been over 15 seconds day or night the past three days.

reminds me of web tv days & i now have high speed internet except when i am on the RX, flies on other sites but not here???????
