6 posts in a row barman, that has to be a record.. talking to yourself again?

There isn't a single "lie" I posted, Marijuana activists truly are some of the most pathetic, self-righteous, and wannabe pseudo intellectuals around. How are you going to deny the statistics about carcinogens and tar intake? And the clinical studies that clearly show the relationship between the long-term use of marijuana and the development of serious paranoia and schizophrenia, not to mention of course the heavy daily toll this drug takes on one's life? I didn't even mention the chemical nature of cannabis and the difficulty the human body has in breaking it down.. that it's not water soluble (like alcohol for example) and instead is fat-soluble, thus its harmful effects staying in the body for a much greater period of time. The only one here therefore who isn't telling the truth is YOU, pushing your obvious agenda and endless misconceptions about cannabis, most seriously being that isn't potentially physically-addictive. This is the greatest misconception of all, based upon the generally-accepted relative harmlessness of the smoke, yet a total misunderstanding of the mechanism of bodily addiction.

One day you'll wake-up and realize just how much time you've wasted on this drug. All the "incredible epiphanies" you had about the meaning of life and all the "amazing self discovery" you achieved while being high.. what ever came of all that? What ever came of all the promises you made to yourself while being high.. you know, about how you were going to live a "better life" and how you were going to "change the world"? Nothing, it was all a waste of time, none of it was real. You're still the same loser, except 20 years have passed and everyone else who's based in a world of reality has moved on, while you're still living in your head and stream-of-conscious thoughts.. how truly "intellectual" of you; clearly you're a step ahead the rest of us.

I am in all favor of legalizing it. To put it into retard terms for those that do not understand his cheap jabs at marijuana users. Youre username speaks for itself and for someone that has amassed 1300 posts in such short months must mean one is spending so much time on the computer that everyone else has moved on.

HIPPIEKILLER gets flustered: You're using semantics to conclude that I therefore somehow "support drug dealers",

SH: No semantics - just reading your posts.

Marijuana is at least a $200 billion per year industry in North America alone.

I believe it's better to have such a large industry subject to regulation by a combination of business and government, especially if the product in question is allegedly dangerous to use.

You believe it's better to have that large industry on the street, 100% unregulated.

Pretty easy to distinguish the difference between your system and mine.

I'm sure the illegal drug dealers appreciate your support of their being in control.

The police, judges and criminal justice professionals with who I work believe that the more in demand a risky product is, the more urgent it is to make it subject to sensible regulation

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition http://leap.cc is a growing international group of over 8,000 members who want to take away control of the multi-hundred billion dollar per year illicit drug business from street dealers and move it into a regulated market.

Those who endorse Prohibtion are the same people who endorsed Al Capone and organized crime being 100% in control of distribution for the drug alcohol during the years of 1920-1933.

Once Prohibition I was repealed in 1934, the production and commercial distribution of alcohol was removed from the streets and placed under the sensible regulation of business and government.

This system is not without problems.

But it is far preferable to the system which puts gangsters, cartels and organized crime in the driver's seat.

Regarding the intake of carcinogens and tar, casual users do not inhale nearly as many times that the average cigarette smoker does. Depending upon the potency and the user's tolerance, a casual marijuana smoker could take anywhere from 1 toke to a dozen per day (or per week if their frequency of getting high were once per week). Cigarettes are much more harmful than pot. Would you suggest making cigarettes illegal on these grounds?

How about charbroiled meat? That contains more carcinogens than marijuana. Would you suggest making that illegal as well?

How about alcohol? Alcohol is much more addictive than marijuana. What about those people who don't get addicted to marijuana, just like those who don't get addicted to alcohol? Should we make marijuana illegal simply because "some" people get addicted to it? If so, let's make cigarettes, alcohol and gambling all illegal as well since they are much more highly addictive than marijuana.

the problem here is you are trying to use logic to debate this topic, the war on drugs is about one thing and one thing only that is money.
