here in houston, im seeing 5.5 and 6 from locals...huh? 16 wins in a row..13-3 ats...maryland has not looked great first 2 rounds...

nova now minus 4.5....wondering if players putting too much stock in that first half massacre against an obvious reeling iowa squad..

but the canes also caught the shockers off a brutal early start after they had to play late twice in the same week..

I've watched KU all year, obviously. They are on fire. "MD has 5 nba players blah blah blah" . KU will win by DD. I've seen many teams with "NBA TALENT" fizzle out before the sweet 16. It's not based on talent, it's who's hot at the right time. Kansas as a great TEAM, and a DEEEEEP bench. They will pound on MD. This is one of the best squads Self has put together in his tenure at KU. Seniors, Juniors and leadership. They will win it all this year.

Kansas may be the best team, but md is a legit and strong 5 seed.
they were in the top 10 most of the year and very good. Struggled late but at 1 time could have been considered a strong argument for a 1 seed. Kansas played better late, but assuming they will just beat everyone by double digits is a little bit much.
Can't really compare their conferences either since west va and texas were duds in the tourney but so were Purdue and mich state. I think the number is accurate but I think md covers...but I am
a umd alum so there is a bias.

Kansas pulled away. Close game for a while but just played smarter. Drew contact when they could and got to the line and converted.
md had a good chance but just couldn't capitalize. Nova math up is interesting
