Why is everybody glorifying A. Mourning

The Guy whines and cries his way out of New jersey after suckering them into a big contract, fails to report to Toronto, what the hell is that. He is exactly what is wrong with the NBA. He is the reason I don't want the Heat to win it even though I would love Shaq to stick it Kobe.

I think Alonzo is a good person but I do realize he played it wrong with his getting out off teams....

I feel you man...and i am a huge Heat fan, but i think its weak how he bolted when we were losing, and wanted back so bad once became a contender...at the same time can i really blame him for chasing the loot?...but i agree lets not glorify him either

Forget the fact he Alonzo is donating his ENTIRE (albeit not as much as he used to make) salary this season to some Kidney-illness research foundation.

I give him a Grade A for this.

I don't care how much he is donating, good for him, but he still doesn't deserve a ring IMO, for this pathetic display of selfishness he has caused to New jersey and Toronto.

As if, 99.9% of the NBAers aren't the same way, don't villify,but don't glorify either.

I could care less if the NBA ceased to exist like the NHL, they play crappy basketball as it was meant to be played anyway.

I agree this guy is the poster child for whats wrong with the NBA. Not only financially but this need now for veteran players to demand to go to a championship team because they have earned the right. What nonsense.

Is playing 10-15 minutes a game behind Shaq really make him believe he is a big contributor and a champion?
