He landed with the ball inches away from the goal line. He crawled about 3 inches.

He landed at the 1 yd line with the ball inches away, but his KNEE was down at the 2-2.5 yd line before he hit the 1 yd line. The ball is spotted where his knee hits the ground, not where he lands afterwards.

krk, I watched the play several times. He landed directly on his knee right at about the 3. He then kind of sprung forward off it for another yard or so, but he was already down by contact at that point.

If anything they wanted SanFran to cover...Zona had 2 td's called back and offensive PI and they even hit them with a personal foul call on 3rd and 1 that made it 1st down on the 2nd to last drive. The last play was fine....It was a little crazy but Gore was down by contact at the 2.5 yard line where they spotted it.
