Just some drama, AL.

Sets up Barman's Fantasy BB Catcher Dion Navarro to jack a game winning tater.

To help offset the pain of Barman's Fantasy BB closer Percival (one of four thankfully)

How about you called the shit out of that!!!

:toast:

My over hit, your Rays are up 5 and Navarro is 3-6 with a Grand Slam!!!

I was content with 4-1 but I'll take a lucky 5-0 anyday!

:dancefool

Why do you feel that way? Because they are playing competitive ball? Or something else?

Well yeah.

They're pitching so well and for the early season, they're not hitting big time yet.

I'd especially counsel looking at Unders when they face LHP because so far that's been tougher for them.

There were two Ed Jacksons in 2007

During an 8 week stretch between late June and mid August he made 13 starts with an ERA of under 3.40

On either side of that stretch, he certainly struggled and was out of most games by the sixth inning.

EXACTLY!

And there still are.

Which makes him what he is.... a high 4-5 ERA pitcher with a 1.50+ WHIP.

Not quite.

The disparity is sharply narrowing so far in 2008

Four starts 29 IP 0.31 ERA 0.97 whip

Three starts 13.1IP 17 ER

Total 4.04 era 1.37 whip

No question he has great stuff, his next step is gaining some sort of consistency. Right now, there's no way you can tell what you're going to get from him:

GATOR, humble opinion from a nearby DevilRay seat is that the best way to approach DRays games until further notice is to take nearly all their past history and trends and play the opposite way.

IOW, DRays and Under is the most common combo we'll see of the four possible each game.

Someone knows his D-Rays! Rays win 2-0 on my fantasy 3B's walkoff. :toast:

Well he went to the cubs---

and they have wasted a ton of dough:

5/5/13:

edwin jackson (0-5) struggled again for the cubs, allowing four runs and eight hits in five innings. He struck out five and walked one. He has yet to pitch past the sixth inning in seven starts this season.

Good luck with The Blue Jays today

Jackson last faced the Red Sox in 2016 and is 3-4 with a 4.64 ERA in 15 games (12 starts) against them.
The 35-year-old is in his 17th season and has a 104-123 career record.
