If you are still looking, my step son (I married his mother - a Tica) (20 almost 21 years old) is now working for one of the big books here in San Jose clerking but the hours are getting hard to come by now that only baseball is in season. He obviously speaks very good English or he wouldn't be clerking for one of the well established huge books here in town. He is making $4.25 or $4.50 (not sure) and would probably be more than happy to start at $5.00 if he was quaranteed hours and possible raises down the road.

Anyway, he is a good kid who takes his work serious and knows because of me he needs to earn what he makes, not just skate by doing the minimum.

Its spelled "T-E-E-F", and no its not him this guy has great teeF and drove down here for a lifestyle change(not the Manuel Antonio kind of lifestyle change though). well no surprise there...probably all of them were late for the interview so might as well not go or all of the int were schedule in between 8 and 9 am so thats waaayyy to early for many of us ticos...

I dont support that people dont even call to let know that they already found another job, or that they simply dont care. Luckily i work with nice people and i dont have the need to be looking for shit, not that this is of your business, but ive worked for very nice people (gringos, europeans) and fucking assholes (gringos, canadians) and was simply giving my opinion, obviously for that salary ($800-$1000) experience and a top notch english would be needed. And someone is clearly still not getting the NOT PAYING TAXES part. CASINO AND POKER SITES PAY BETTER, AND HAVE A HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT. Big books suck because they usually put you on low salary, I remember one place who used to pay $650 a month with one day off a week (sportsbook.com), a salary like that they can shove it down their ass... BOOKS ARE NOT A BLESSING FOR CR (B.O.S. anyone?)!!! They are obviously very valuable for our economy and for a lot of people... BUT COUNTRIES LIKE CR, BERMUDA, ANTIGUA, CURACAO AND WHATEVER OTHER ISLAND IN THE WORLD THAT SHELTERS THEM ARE A BLESSING 4 BOOKS! Otherwise they would still be taking action risking their asses in fucking Jersey
