I don't get it ... being a Microsoft product and all, you would think it would be better.

I don't use it much. I would have it open for 2-3 tabs, one being an AOL account and it would crash or Freeze all the time.
Really can't use it for the Forum, because it's horrible

I have heard Microsoft has stopped putting development money into it b/c they know everyone uses Chrome and firefox, which sucks because so many business applications rely on Explorer

I always thought it was Windows based that they reply on.

Haven't they put their browser resources into their new Browser, Microsoft Edge, and dropped IE support?

They still support IE11 in addition to Edge.

The real question is why does anyone still use IE?

Firefox is garbage now too.

I gave up on Firefox. Edge is good.

Yeah any time that I start up Firefox I get the pop-up that says it's better with Edge
I do use that for a few Sports stats sites. might have to start using it for more.

as for IE, I always had a couple of Sportsbooks tabs up, while doing most of my work on Firefox.
Guess it was just a Habit

I might have the specifics a little bit off but the reason it sucks is because back in like '03-05 when malware, spyware and other viruses were proliferating, they were all targeted towards the IE browser because it had like 90% market share at the time. So then firefox came along and didn't have these issues and everyone switched to it. Then chrome came along and IE just has never really tried to get their business back. Probably not worth the time/effort/resources.
