Colorado has a poor defense, but in six key defensive categories, they are better than Col. St in 5. In what I consider the most important category, defensive rushing, they are far superior. I know it doesn't mean they'll cover, but if you look at defensive rush stats in yesterday's games, you will see it has a tremendous impact on who wins.

I like Colorado here because CSU won't be able to exploit any of the Buffs defensive weaknesses, which is the defensive backfield. CSU will be a weak passing team with a new system, QB and new WR's. CSU will have a decent running team. But the strength of the Colorado defense is their D-Line. The strength of the Colorado offense will be their passing game. I look for it to be much stronger this year. They were starting to come together nicely in the last few games of last season against Nebraska and Bama. And this plays right into the weakness of the CSU defense, which will be their defensive backfield. I believe the only way CSU covers this spread is if they can get their run game going and outrush Colorado. But CU has some very good RB's of their own. And their O-Line may be the one unit on the team that is the most improved this season....Good luck
