Why do the Cowboys want Mcfadden so bad when they have a better back on the team?

you talk like this moron is the gospel. Good stuff. Pierre Thomas isn't even better than stecker which says all you need to know.

I will bet you $500 that Thomas has more rushing yards next season.

And I will spot you an extra 300 yards.

Dont make that bet Chop...i think ur right also but hell sometimes the saints are so dumb they may not use him at all next yr........
Mcfadden has the tools but he's light in the head..guy is as dumb as a wall socket. I just done see even jerry jones being dumb enough to draft him #1. thats insane...

Now you are showing your ignorance.
This im 100% sure of you are wrong here.

I know he is more talented runner for sure, but there has to be some reason why he couldn't beat out stecker. Pass blocking for one. Receiving out of the backfield for two. Stecker pretty much sucks and he couldn't take the job from him, and my point is this idiot is saying he is better than Mcfadden? Ludicrous.

plus will always have a special place in my heart for my waiver wire acquisition of stecker that led me to my 35k win in that fantasy football league. Pierre Thomas would have resulted in a loss!!!

Cant catch the ball out of the backfield.
Do you want me to link the qoute from coach that says Thomas has the best hands on the team?

He did have 100yards recieving in that game along with 100 yards rushing.

He just had to pay his dues, thats why the undrafted rookie free agent had to wait behind Skecker.

Not always about the more talented guy. I never said he couldn't catch out of the backfield and obviously they felt Stecker(one of steckers strenths) was the more reliable guy that is why he played until they were out of contention. Nothing else matters than that.

More importantly are you agreeing with that moron that Thomas is a better, more talented player than Mcfadden? Sounds like it.

A lil confused here i think...
Saints thought from day 1 that Pierre could be an every down back in this league but with 3 backs in frt of him he was probably practice squad material. a few injuries and they kept him on the 40 NEVER thinking he would play a down in an undecided game..
When Duece went down they made Bush #1 and naturally Stecker became #2 cus he's been on the team for 3-4 yrs and knows all the plays, etc..Pierre wasnt even in the loop when Deuce went down as THEY NEVER EXPECTED TO NEED HIM before then.
Then Bush goes down and in the next 2 games the Saints play 2 losing teams with the 2 worst run defenses in the league and Stecker has an avg game in each and suddenly ppl are screaming he was the answer all along.......idiots were saying that!!!
Then Stecker goes down and Pierre is forced into action and looks decent as well....
Facts...Pierre was kept because the saints thought he had potential...they cut that Pittman guy from ohio st. to keep him ( a move i thought was horrible)
Fact---Stecker made this team because he is a GREAT SPECIAL TEAMS player and can fill in a RB if needed...

Odds as follows..

Stecker never plays another down in the NFL + 180
Stecker never starts another NFL game +140
Stecker doesnt get 50 carries for the rest of his career -135

What would Dallas have to give up to get the #1?

Many many picks and players? All for a RB? Makes no sense...
