In the horse forum, I post my plays for horse matchups. I use speed figures that few people use due to cost issues. Talking about the methodology in looking at the figures is like talking to a wall, so I'll save myself the time and the typing and just give plays. With the volume of plays I've posted, the numbers speak for themselves.

Sir, do you by chance use Brisnet numbers? If so what do you think of them? Also will you be running any of yours in Florida this winter?

No, I don't use BRIS products. I'm a TG user through and through and have been for about 15 years.

We will be running at GP this winter, although we are sending a much smaller string since we want to keep some open stalls down there for claiming purposes. In the past the numbers have been as high as 15, but this year only a few will make the trip with the remainder staying in the Mid-Atlantic. We will be looking to Tampa for their turf sprint series for sure with one of our runners. Might have a couple run at Calder in December just to maintain fitness since GP doesn't start until the new year.

I always wondered myself how people can post tons of picks w/o even one mention of reasoning..

The problem with write up on every game, if you post a lot, and give a partial reason why you like a game, you get a handful of guys asking you 'is that the only reason you like the game' or they question you , or even worse tell you about stats after the play loses...it takes balls to post picks all the time, and I think some get tired of answering the questions about their analysis.

Some who give out picks with no analysis are still worth paying attention to.

it takes a toll on you mentally if you're actually betting the money that you're posting here with your plays. People are are hyping up their plays with these huge unit bangers usually don't have anything on the game and feel like posting away and misleading people who truly gamble here. Most of all, it's a pain in the ass to deal with constant bickering and it takes time away from the actual capping.

There's a reason why it's called the forum jinx. You might do well on your own without posting your plays and then the added pressure kills you when you do start posting.

Personally, just posting your plays in the bet of the day or contests thread is good enough for anyone to see what you're playing. You won't have to bother with any bashers and you can move on for the day.

Sure am Fish. The Jones' silks will be seen pretty often.Three are ready to go right now. One more should be ready by January. We really like them all. We're much stronger than last year....and the rookie year was not bad at all.
