Seems like it should be a turnkey business to make easy millions upon millions....

A lot succeed but a lot don't.

BOS, Betislands, Betjm, ect....

Don't offer crazy bonuses that will hurt you.
Payout quick
Offer "fair" lines
Have a loyalty program

I don't get how you can get it wrong?...Unless they shut down from legal issues...

Shouldnt even have to offer a bonus if you are a legitimate company and build a solid reputation

Greed. Bottom line greed has managers thinking short term.

I wouldn't say Bet Jam failed. The Regulatory climate changed and Spiros didn't want the hassle of dealing with US regs anymore. No one was stiffed, smooth transfer to Heritage.
BOS group collapsed because the Gov't went after them. They stiffed because they could, and the fuckin gov't didn't care about players, but without the gov't actively shutting them down, they would have likely survived and thrived, as they did before the gov't actions. Millennium is one of the best books I ever played at. Until they weren't.
Others, like Betislands, Aces Gold, and many others, like Reno said. The ones that just upped and stiffed will be in a special place in Hell.

Was stiffed for a couple dimes by Aces Gold. Then went to Pinny and was very happy till they had to cut loose the US players. Pinny was a class act though. I had an active future wager that won two months later. They sent me the money from the wager then closed the account.

Simply legalities.

You could do everything perfectly, including being well funded, the climate is just not right.

Name a book that gets it 100% right?

They may, but things out of their control hamper them.

There will always be fly by books that stiff. But the main reason IMO is the govt going after all these books, & making it tough for players to get their money or deposit.
