I thought the game wasn't over until the extra point was attempted. It wasn't overtime.

All these major programs are running up the scores and making me ill.

Was hoping they'd knock John Parker out after that last drive up 25-7 and rubbing it in,but Saben took him out,now he takes him out.

Chalk city, well except Stanford's back door.

Tell me about it! Its total horseshit. However, while I feel its total horseshit, I totally understand why these coaches are doing it especially this year........There's about 5-6 teams that could sneak into the National Championship Game and all you hear about is margin of victory & points. Sad but true. With only 2-3 games left, these teams need to keep winning and keep winning big.

Yeah and the kids on the other team feel the humiliation.

They need a playoff format as NFL they wouldn't pull that horse shit as run clock get off the field and remain healthy.

Do u guys realize Stanford was gonna kick FG with 3 seconds left and Carrol called a Time out for some unkown reason and Harbough decided to go for the TD after the stupid Time out.

If carrol doesnt call timeout even with the fg its a 25 point USC win

Nature of gambling. Anything can and does happen. Comes with the territory. Join the club. We all have lost/won a game on a meaningless last second play.

Here's a copy of my most recent post:

Just got back from the Stanford / USC game and as you probably know I missed the USC cover by 1/2 a point. It was a bizare ending to say the least. I thought the cover was in hand until the last drive. With 3 seconds left Stanford was going for a field goal which wouldn't have hurt the USC backers. Then Carrol calls a time out which I thought was odd. Stanford goes for a final TD shot and makes it. I was on the other endzone and it looked like it could have been incomplete which I thought was the case when the TD got waved off. All the USC backers cheered, and the points were taken off back to 17. The game was over and with no extra point kicked, I was confident that was a close cover for me. As we were leaving the stadium I heard the final score again and Stanford has 23...Not sure what happened, but when I saw Harbough's reaction on replay he sure looked like he had a sense of relief when it was all over.

I will say, Stanford played a pretty good game up until late in the 3rd & 4th quarter. I was suprised to see the success they had on the ground with the "hurt running back playing".. Guess I got my moneys worth..LOL
