Why can't most people make a left turn properly?

In California it's against the law to make a right turn on green if a pedestrian is crossing the intersection. This is true even on divided streets with an island.

So if you are ready to take a right turn and someone steps into the street on the other side, you have to wait for their slow ass to completely cross the entire street before turning right.

Ct does it better, here you can go right if ( on a divided road with an island) if the pedestrian is on the other side of the road.

Laws are all Fucked up everywhere.

In a city like LV, I always felt MUCH safer as a pedestrian by jaywalking/ jogging/running mid block instead of crossing at a light....too many people trying to run lights or go right on red without regarding the pedestrian at an intersection of two 4-lane streets.

I see people turn right on red from a middle lane where you have the option of going straight or turning right on green. The inside lane is a right turn only lane. You can't turn right on red from the middle lane here.

I read about them installing "blue arrow" lights. They allow you to make a left turn if no traffic is coming towards you and you can turn safely! Have never heard another word about this and I heard about it 3 years ago.

I'll bet you could tell some stories about the idiots who didn't get out of your way when your cherries were on. It really gets me disgusted when I see a fire truck with its lights on and people don't get out of the way.
