Why Bet on the Texans this NFL Sunday Week 5

Here is one of my picks for tomorrow.

Texans -3

The Giants are coming off a big game against the Bears, but this is a completely different animal in the Houston Texans. The Texans are off to their best start in franchise history and play their best football at home. After taking last week off due to injury, Andre Johnson will be on the field for this one.

Brian Cushing, last season's Defensive Rookie of the Year, will make his season debut after serving a four-game suspension. He will play a crucial role in shutting down Ahmad Bradshaw and the Giants run game.

Eli Manning will be forced to throw a lot in this one, and will be under constant pressure from Mario Williams. Arian Foster will be the difference maker in this game, and should be able to get loose in the running game as well as the short passing game, which will help to offset the Giants supreme pass rushers.

i lean this way but not sure how many times i can keep riding with hou....not sure that they "play their best football at home" as their only loss is at home, also not sure why you think eli passing will be a good thing, have you seen hou play pass d? like i said i wouldnt take nyg here as i feel hou is the better team, just worry about there shaky defense, hopefully getting Cushing back really makes a difference, but id say they really Fuked up not signing Robinson....GL

Texans giving up a league-high 337 yards per game through the air, spotting points against a New York’s capable passing attack doesn't make any sense.
