DONALD IGWEBUIKE, the 32-year-old place kicker for the Minnesota Vikings, was acquitted yesterday by a Federal jury of charges that he masterminded a failed effort to smuggle more than $1 million worth of heroin from his native Nigeria into the United States. Igwebuike, who if convicted would have faced up to 120 years in Federal prison and $6 million in fines, threw his fists into the air and broke into tears after the verdict was announced in a Tampa, Fla., courtroom.
"Finally, I got a chance to tell my side of the story in court, what the truth was," said the National Football League kicker outside the courthouse. "When your life is in somebody else's hands -- I was in hell. I want to kick again. I'm going back to play."
The verdict followed a two-week trial and a five-and-a-half-hour deliberation over two days by the jury.
Igwebuike had maintained his innocence, although he was implicated by two Nigerian friends who pleaded guilty to their roles in the scheme. Igwebuike's attorney contended the two friends were implicating him in the hope of getting a reduced sentence. (AP)

Ktv, this thread had some potential to be a good nature vs: nurture discussion. I made a 2 sentence thread over at another forum about altruistic egotism and there was 6 pages of intelligent response within an hour. If I posted that here, there would be 6 pages asking what altruistic egotism is. OK in that case out of the 3 choices i would have to agree with you and say A is the case. You will never see blacks practicing our kicking through any uprights and after 4th down we would always throw the ball to the opposing team rather than punting.
BTW, Levi, Social Psychology was one of my favorite classes in college. It would be worth the cash to take a class.
