locals stiff people too, so can a proxy

I've been stiffed by a local a couple of times over the years, although not since the 1990's

I've never been stiffed offshore and I've had a few pretty good hits (by my standards anyhow), although I did have a couple of slow pay issues

if you don't live in Vegas, risk is part of the gambling experience

I've lost a ton to WSEX, and lost 96 cents on the dollar in the BetonSports stiff job, when Books I played at for a long time were bought by that group, and I couldn't get all my money out before they got pinched. But even with all that, I'm Way up playing offshore for the last decade and a half, and you just try to minimize the risks, which exist with locals also, and agents with PPH shops.
I thought WWTS players got transferred to another book way back in the day?
No one lost a penny when the Greek left the US market, or when Pinny left the US market, or when SIA did, or when Bowmans and other British/Australian Books left the US Market. Legends people got transferred to Wager Web, and none were stiffed, AFAIK. Those are models for how a good Book leaves, and the remaining Big Books, like Heritage, Bookmaker group, 5 Dimes, if they ever leave the US market, would hopefully leave the same way. Can that be guaranteed? Of course not. But if you play at the big, long established shops you should be as safe, if not safer, than playing with a local.

I did too. Looking back the warning signs were there years before the trickle of payments stopped. Loved that place, the fresh, clean, simple layed out site. Even their poker software was the best, imo.

First of all let me shed some light on this subject...

There is probably only one guarantee in sports betting, you bet at the window at the Sportsbooks in Vegas you will get paid...Anything else is bet at your own risk.

Local bookies, especially many today open up thinking the bettor is a loser and when the Book gets drilled a new asshole he becomes the ultimate stiff. We've buried several locals. Locals are a joke just preying on gamblers hoping they'll lose. There are more educated/sharp bettors today then ever before. The local has no chance.

As far as off shore of course you are betting with risk...But seriously, look at the companies that have been in operation for sometime. They have been like clockwork as far as paying. Don't go with some new comapny that just closed their doors under a different name just to stiff more people. Go with the most reliable, as reliable can be off shore. One's that have lasted some time and have some history behind them. Lets put it this way BodDog and The Greek left the US market but they never stiffed anyone. It was the character of there company.Out of 400+ sportsbooks today ONLY approximately 10 warrant one to send their money to them. All the rest are a huge huge gamble.

By the way, Mogley who ever told you betPanAm, Cascade, and WWTS were "A" rated sportsbooks??? Their salesmen??? LOL
