I don't agree with everything this article says, but it brings up some interesting points.
This writer thinks that the GOP is throwing money into Deans campaign to help get him the Democratic nomination. Why? Well in this reporters opinion, because Dean would be the easiest to beat in the general election. Heres the link and form your own opinions.

Isn't it clear by that sites 1995-style web publishing that they don't really have much to day?

Isn't it clear the Republican Party is drooling at the thought of Bush running against Dean next year?

It sure is Wil. It's really no secret who they fear, and that's Wesley Clark. If he gets in the race and shows any momentum you can expect the Repubs to fire up the smear machine. They're not going to say anything bad about Dean until and if he gets the nomination.

That would make you happy now would'nt it. I will make a deal with you. If Sharpton gets the nomination, I will turn Republican immediately.

I'll admit to not knowing much about the man, but can someone tell me why Al Sharpton is so despised? What are the skeletons in his closet that everyone is so afraid of?

The only thing I know (vaguely) about is that he defended some girl who it turned out was faking a rape.. is that correct? Something like that? Surely that can't be the only reason people despise him so. Whats the rest of the dirt on Sharpton? Clue me in!

I love Al Sharpton! Just because he's an opportunist and might be a bigot is merely spin to take the public eye away from his political stance.

Come primary day, I will be standing out there with an Al Sharpton sign to encourage all of those hard working Democrats to vote for a man of the people! You can be assured that this undecided voter, and Tanya Brawley will be voting for Al on primary election day!

The republican's behind GW obviously aren't taking anything for granted after what happened with his father in 1992 by the slick rapist.
The were caught with their pants down in that election so to speak and it won' happen to the his Bush II.

If they are "secretly" backing Dean it probably for the same reason they were not afraid of Clinton's Attorney General, Janet Reno, for governor of Florida against Jed. Dean's a nonfactor who will be blown out by BushII except in the big welfare cities who would vote for Satan as long as he had a (D) attached to his/her name.

It is obvious that the democrats have not one at this time or in the near future who will lead them. The future of the domecractic party is not looking good in America except for the welfare cities.

Its clear that he's unelectable.. everyone seems to laugh at him. This can't just be because he is an "opportunist". EVERY politician is an opportunist. How is he a bigot? What is the dirt on him? Does anyone know?

I personally do not know of any dirt or scandle attached to Al Sharpton. The problem as you say,
is that he is unelectable, I believe solely because of his appearance. Who knows he may just be the right man for the job. What Right wing Americans want to see is as weak an opponent as possible for Bush next year. Let's face it for an Afro-American to get elected president next year, he will have to be cast from the Colin Powell mold, in order for middle America to except him.

Joint Pleasure, nice comment calling an ex-president a rapist. Classy.

Typical of you demis,

Clinton rapes a women - I call him a rapist - and I'm the one who has no class? Get a life libs.
I'll call OJ a murderer as well. From the time Clinton did step down after scrwing around with his intern I had a tough time taking off my hat for the national anthem - sure felt good to get a republican in office after that.

You demis just can't stand a capitalistic America. Bush is 1/2 odds to win the presidency now. Could get to 5/7 at the peak and I'll ride that horse!!

Tomorrow is Labor Day which must be a killer for some of you libs collecting unemployment - welfare. Walk around town and you'll see people at the parks that truly enjoy that day and who will be back to work Tuesday.

Jointpleasure......Will you call George W Bush a liar? With all due respect, I don't think you have a clue as to what you're talking about.
