I REALLY LIKE THE UNDER 7.5

The Chargers are heavily favored to finish last in the division and will be hard pressed to even go 3-3. Like the NY Jets last yr their opening 8 games on the schedule are grueling. I do not expect them to be favored in more than 2 of them. And when a team starts put 3-5 or 2-6 there is a lot of the "here we go again attitude" and the locker room falls apart. I just don't see where those 8 wins are coming from. On top of that they are playing in a mini soccer stadium . it holds 30000 at most and is in Carson California . Hardly an imposing venue to the visiting teams. There are high school teams that can almost draw that.

GOOD LUCK CHARGER BACKERS

I agree with you on the homefield situation. They're going to be the only team in the NFL playing in a college stadium with no real fan support. In a league as competitive as the NFL, something like that could certainly take it's toll.

But they got the best CB duo in the league, a rising star in Bosa and a reliable pass rusher in Ingram as the cornerstones of their D. Feels like their D is ready to make a big leap.

Offensively, it looks like Williams might be done for the year already but Allen, Gordon, Henry, T Williams is probably the most talent Rivers has had around him since Gates/LT were in their primes. Just need everyone to stay healthy.

Also, another reason I like them is I think KC/Denver are both overrated. Two teams that are really lacking offensively.

Going to have todisagree with you on this one bud, Ithink their Defense looks really promising and Rivers can still be elite ifthey can keep him upright, especially as he has a running game and enoughweapons to target…I think the stadium will surprise everyone, I think it willbecome a tricky spot to play….they’ll get better support than everyoneanticipates and we’ve all been to stadiums whereby its smaller and moreenclosed and 30,000 can sound like 60,000 the home field advantage is not aconcern for me at all….I 100% agree with Patsfan that KC and Denver can regressthis year and Ifeel both LA/Oak make the playoffs

I agree keeping Rivers upright is Key and one thing I believe is overlooked is they are more than likely going to be starting not one but 2 rookie offensive lineman. Not a great idea when you have 2 games with Vonn Miller and 2 with the chiefs..and again that opening schedule looks grueling esp for young lineman

I live in SD and the Chargers were always my team until 2 years ago when the writing was on the wall that they were leaving. They have always disappointed because of terrible leadership and front office but hey maybe a change of scenery is the way to go. You won't see me cheering if they win the super bowl it would however be the biggest d!@* slap to the city of SD.

METFAN as I said you in the other thread. The chargers are very underated. Years ago the injuries devastated the chances. There's a roster plenty of young talent playmakers. They have the best Off in the Division and maybe the best D if Bradley know how to fit in the pieces.

A 30k stadium is not necesarily a bad home.

I am sure the Chargers will surprise with 9-10 wins and maybe the Division title.

doubt they have a better D than Denver or KC ..also they have an Old QB behind a very porous offensive line..through in a tough schedule..

I GUESS TIME WILL TELL..I would not be surprised at all to see them 2-6 at the halfway mark ..Looks like last yrs Jets schedule

the way people talk about the Chargers receiving Corps reminds me how they talk about the Mets great young pithing staff

Chargers lost every game (seemingly) late in the 4th last year, if memory serves. It seemed like them and B-More always lost close. Not sure about ATS spread record though.

Appears to be the case this year. Two painful last-second losses (blocked FG after a made FG on iced kick and now this).

I think Koo may have been expecting Miami to ice him or something. Anyway, Chargers should've kept Lambo.

I thought they would be good (or better), but I really think they're just a franchise without a home or a fanbase right now

I do believe that can impact their chemistry
