Is this a betting forum or what? People refuse to bet against their favorite team.

I try to bet with my head and not with my heart. I've lived in Chicago and the suburbs all my life and I have no problem betting against the Bears. As matter of fact, I took Detroit on Thanksgiving day. The Bears are the turkey and Detroit should beat the stuffing out of them ! :103631605

I'm a Chiefs fan. I don't bet against them in a game that counts. I don't want to sit there rooting against them. I'll bet against them in the exhibition season, or in a meaningless game at the end of the season where they rest their starters because it doesn't count.
I also think when you are emotionally invested in a team, you don't see it as clearly as when there is no emotional involvement. Doesn't stop me from using their opponent in contests, which I've done lots, but it's not the same thing.

I am in Texas but actually never bet on Dallas or Houston....90% of the time I go against them unless they are play at England for exhibition.

Haha so true. My teams are the ones I have the best winning percentage betting on whether they win or lose. I know them so well it's usually easier to pick when they win or lose vs other teams I don't follow as closely.
