Got Karlovic at 150/1

Ancic at 65/1

These were a while back though, doubt you can get near those prices now.

Federer is odds on favourite, even before the tournament begins, and is expected to complete the hat trick.

Federer is listed @ -155 to win it with Roddick being next in line @ +500 (big damn drop off from 1st to 2nd)

J.Johansson is getting a very good price and has a legit shot at making a run again this year, he's about +3150 right now

odds on karlovic down to 28/1...if you don't want to bet on Federrer, i would suggest Roddick...huge serve, he's hungry...but i still think Fed wins it...

Federer will win...but the odds offer little (if not zero) value..not worth wagering.

Normally JoJo offers great value...but his current form going into the tourny is bad..losing his only grass court match in straight sets.

Karlovic is def. worth a bet...26 aces today and returned all Lubijic's serves today. Thats insane. If he's returning well and not allowing aces against him, then he could make some big waves.

I will also throw Marat Safin in the value category. Not normally a good grass court player, but played very well in last week's grass tourney...and took Federer to a third/decisive set in the Final.

i wouldn't trust that big oaf Safin to win a match in the special olympics...not that he's not really good whenhe wants to be, but you can tell sometimes he just doesnt care about the match...and he gets distracted with those little tantrums he throws...

I think you are slightly overconfident. If you've noticed he didn't exactly cruise to the title in Germany last week. Soderling almost defeated him in the 1st round (after losing the first set, won the second set 8-6 in a tiebreaker), Haas gave him a challenge and then of course in the final Safin took him to another 3 setter.

Federer can be beaten.

Ancic and Roddick are probably the next favs imo.

Real longshots could include Stepanek and Nalbandian.

roger had a lot more time to prepare for grass court season in 2003 (after his first round loss to horna at RG) and in 2004 ( after 3rd round loss to Guga) than he did this year w/ his SF loss to nadal. that explains why he wasn't at his best at Halle this year.
he sounds very confident in his post match interviews from Halle and I can't see him losing this year at Wimbledon if he is healthy.

i see roger already at -190 at some books.

as for the women, the draw is loaded on the bottom half.
1/4..either kim or davenport will get to the final.
2/4..no one is there
3/4..serena/henin
4/4 all maria

so going w/ value w/ the women
6.5 units on Clijsters @ +633
3.5 units on davenport @ +1200

Roddick is +110 on Betfair in a pool "winner w/o Federer". I presume they are on opposite sides of the draw but it wasn't up earlier this week.

Well Federer might be an ok pick now. Looks like he pays off the tournament directors with these amazingly easy draws he gets. He won't face anybody until the semi's, unreal.

Roddick on the other hand has a tricky draw. Karlovic in the 2nd round, Andreev/Soderling in 3rd and so on. Much more challenging then Roger.

like i said, line was a joke.
i almost made this bet to win 100 units instead of 50. oh well.
next year, i expect roger to be at least -300 to win wimbledon.

would have been much better wimbledon for me if chokenport didn't pull another choke out of her bag.

Ditto on the Davenport drama ..... at match point I was looking at plasma TVs in the newspaper .... I had the Moose +1050ish a couple places to win ..... stuck with the old TV now for a while ... :sad3:

Not taking anything away from Venus ... she played out of her mind.
