Alabama and Nick Saban getting no respect in this spot, and we all know Florida is the best thing since sliced bread and they can do no wrong. I anticipate Nick Saban will have an excellent gameplan to keep the game close by bleeding clock and playing great defense the likes of which Florida hasn't seen all year. JPW will not be asked to do to much and they will rely heavily on Coffee to sustain drives. I really believe this will be a defensive struggle and I'll happily take the double digit number and wouldn't be shocked to see Bama win outright. Anyone else with me??? Cheers! :toast:

I'm with you & brought it to 11.5.

10 isn't enough? 10' wasn't enough but 11' was? Not sure if I understand why you add that much juice to the bet.

For the record I think Florida wins by at least 14.

I'm still breaking it down, so Im not sure what side Im taking yet, but something to keep in mind - In Florida's 11 wins this year, their closest win was 23 points. Other than Ole Miss where they had 5 turnovers (btw - Ole Miss was two yds from beating Bama in Bama), and they destroyed teams that Alabama played much closer - UGA, KY, LSU, and really Tennessee. UT had 4 losses when Bama played them (including AU) and while UT can't score on anyone, the game was still 16-3 deep into the 3rd Q. Bama scored their 2nd TD of the game with 1min to go in the 3rd to make it 22-3. UF had 17 in the first quarter and that was before their O starting clicking.

June, don't be fooled by the public rush to anoint Florida as the next messiah. Trust in Nick Saban to cover this number. GL! :toast:

Bama will be an extremely dangerous 'running dog' in this game. Their OL will pose big problems for that Gator DL. Hanging this kind of number will also give Saban another motivating angle. Bama should be nice and loose for this one and Harvin may be running at 75% at best.

Can't wait for this game.

If you bet Florida you will be celebrating. If you bet Bama you will be crying as you pay your bookie.

FSU had a top 10 defense and we saw what happend even in the rain!!!!
South Carolina had a top 10 defense and we saw what happend.

Bama has a top 10 defense and we will see that 10 pts isn't even close to enough!!! Wake up people!!!!!!

I do not believe in betting #'s I can push on. I have a chart of numbers I find important to be in front of or behind when wagering. 11 is one of those #'s to me.

GL either way

you have a better chance at seeing God next Saturday than seeing Florida beat Alabama by 11 + points.

No chance I'm betting against Florida. They've won by 28+ and covered every game since the Ole Miss debacle.

Can't bet against Bama either. They've shown up and covered in every big game this year.

I'll just enjoy this game. The over is tempting. Might do common opponent analysis to judge this one.
