I agree with WW

Best way to exploit your visits to our humble PucksPub is to try and read the information provided by the active contributors.

Most of last season (after first month shake out) we had about a dozen decent information threads most days.

Also, beginning in November, watch the contestants in the NHL Betjam contest as we will have several that hit streaks lasting up to a couple weeks or more.

Thanks for the info fellas. I have a system I used in MLB that I plan unveiling for NHL for the first time. Big Risk, Big reward type of thing.

I'll be back in here the first of October!!!

fwiw - im sure there are a lot of other good cappers as well, i just tend to ignore the guys with elaborate writeups that are full of fluff/tout type info

"Nojuice" was the shit when it came to Oilers games last season.

Nojuice is the Oilers guru. His record was like 14-1 on Oilers games.

IMO, Soprano is solid when it comes to cappin' pucks. Sherwood usually has good write-ups.

No offense to anyone I've left off. As Barman and WW said above, there are many people that contribute to the Hockey Forum.

BoL and look forward to you joining in.

NHL Betjam "Preseason" contest thread

To those who will be or might be interested in participating in this season's Betjam NHL contest - slated to start in early November - I'm going to create a weekly thread inside the RxForum CONTEST forum wherein we can use the month of October for a "preseason" contest.

No $$ investment and no $$ prize, but a good spot to try out the format and get used to the system so you can be better prepared for the real $$ contest in November.

Vegas Vic- always solid write-ups

Soprano- When he gets HOT, he makes moves

Nojuice- Oilers man and always a good guy

Dingo5152- Didn't have that great of a year last year but posted on another forum in the previous years and was very good. He is also a friend of mine but that is not why I am saying this.

There are many good hockey cappers on this site. I post in the MLB, NCAAFB, NFL, rarely in NCAACB, and here. I feel this is the best part of this forum as the trash talking is very limited and eveyone here loves the game of Hockey not just making money off of it.

Good luck to all this season!

A lot of guys post great writeups. The difference is...when Vic does it, the whole forum acts like EF Hutton just walked into the room!

Thanks for the kind words. There are a number of solid hockey guys here, class is the thing that comes to mind for the most part. Good luck to everyone this up-coming season.
