How did Junior Seau miss this list?

He's good, but You're talking about a guy that had 56 Sacks in 19 Years

He's more of a Coverage guy, But a Very Good Player. and another Nut when he's on the field.

I also could have listed Mark Gastineau , and he really only had 3 Good years out of his 10.

Butkus changed the way the game was played. He had the speed, the size and the strength. The rule book added several rules because of the tactics Butkus used in the game.

They don't make em like that anymore...

But in the more modern game...LT reinvented the position, it has to go to him.

Bednarik played at roughly the same time and seemed to garner most of the awards. They might have only given it to one guy at each position or something.
I grew up in the age of the great Dynasties. UCLA Bruins won 10 titles in a 12 year span from 1964 to 1975. The Boston Celtics won 8 straight titles in the Bill russell era which spanned 1958 to 1966. The Green Bay Packers won 5 NFL Championship in the Vince Lombardi era winning in 1961,1962,1965, 1966 and 1967 with the last 2 being the first 2 Super Bowls. Ray Nitschke played on all 5 of those world Championship teams. Bednarik had actually retired prior to Nitschke great years as He played from 1949 and retired in 1962.Also We must remember that the Yankees were a dynasty back then with the Yankees winning 9 World Series Championships between 1949 to 1964. WOW ! Those type of dynasties can never happen again because of the movement of players from one team to another for financial reason. I loved it much better back then when players only played for one team ! Those were the days my friend ........:toast::103631605:lol:

As a life-long Broncos fan, I have to throw Randy Gradishar out there. Definately not the greatest of all-time, but he surely deserves mention.
