I have never really bet hockey that much.
I make plenty of money on the other sports.

I have bet hockey a few times and I am just okay.
I wanted to get some good info on the games and some good perspectives.

Who is the best hockey handicapper in here?

I don't know any hockey handiccaper so im going on my own, this is gonna be my year, im 5-2 in regular season already +25 dimes and + 18.25% of my starting bankroll. I like to bet on other sports too but i can't really analyse all aspects of the game because the only sport in canada is hockey :) i faded brandon lang a bit on football and baseball. are you handicapping or you fade experts?

So you're up $25,000 on a 5-2 start and have a nice increase on a starting bankroll of about $140,000

And that's with only four games played in the NHL

Nothing better than the first two weeks of any sports season for bringing out the Big Gunners

maybe i messed with the word dime, english is my second language.. what i meant is that on a bankroll on 100 i won 25, so that would put me 125, but more 118.25 if i want to be exact. im sorry if i said something crazy

Fair enough

"Dime" in english slang would usually represent $1000

Best to you for a profitable season ahead.

As for who is "best" handicapper here, we have a relatively small, but friendly fraternity of devoted hockey fans. Please feel welcome to visit, read, learn and contribute.

thank you steve, i think i will have a great season visiting the forum. i dont know any sport gambler where i live and its interesting to discuss about it and learn from other people. It's nice too when someone post that a team is starting his backup goaltender and things like that.

i wish you all a profitable season too

My advice would be to follow the Betjam contest and once the leaders begin to seperate themselves from the rest of the pack, that's the guys you want to pay attention to. Especially when a couple of them are all on a nice, pricey dog. After all, that's usually how they got in the + in the first place and seperated themselves from the pack.

agree with this advice.

also...ewitty did that consensus thread last year dealing with the betjam contest and for at least the first half of the year it had ridiculous success. It was up to something like 60, 70, (or 80?), units.
